Our speech-language pathologists offer services in assessment, treatment, and consultation to children from birth to 18 years.
**If you are a new client to SLB, please book your first appointment as an initial consultation and USE your CHILD’s NAME. Parent information will be gathered when filling out the intake form.**

Psychology Assessment: Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Intellectual Disability/Developmental Delay

Depending on the presenting concerns, the psychological assessment may include several domains including cognitive, academic, neurodevelopmental and social-emotional.

Dr. Lynn Loutzenhiser holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Saskatchewan. She completed her pre-doctoral residency training in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island in 2000 and has been working with children and families in Saskatchewan ever since. Clinically, Dr. Loutzenhiser provides psychological assessment services to families with children experiencing developmental and/or mental health concerns. Vanessa is a Registered Speech-Language Pathologist with the Saskatchewan Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (SASLPA). Vanessa began her postsecondary education at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in Calgary where she obtained her Nutrition for Healthy Lifestyles Certificate. She then headed to Minot State University where she earned a Bachelors of Science in Communication Disorders with a Minor in Deaf and Hard of Hearing and a Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. Vanessa brings experience in both private practice and education settings serving clients of all ages. Some of her additional training includes Gestalt Language Processing, Echolalia, and Natural Language Acquisition. Her passion and desire to help others is seen every day through the energy she brings to each session and her ability to connect with clients of all ages.

Sandy is a licensed Speech Language Pathologist with the College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Saskatchewan (CSASK) and a licensed member of Speech Language & Audiology Canada (SAC). She received both her Bachelors of Science degree in Communication Disorders and her Masters of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from Minot State University.

Sandy has 21 years of experience working in both schools and private practice. Her experience includes working with preschool to high school aged students supporting speech, language, literacy, and communication skills. Sandy has a special interest in working with children on articulation, phonological processing, motor speech, language, and/or building early literacy skills. Leanne received her Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at Minot State University.

Leanne brings over 30 years experience in speech-language pathology in the education setting both in direct speech-language pathology intervention and assessment and in supporting programming for students with differing abilities and needs. My 18+ years of work experience in both the school and health settings has afforded me the opportunity to work with a wide range of communication disorders with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school age children. I have twenty seven years of experience with twenty four of those years working in a rural education system. Three of those years included working at the Ministry of Education. My experience includes working with preschool to high school aged students to support the communication skills of students across different age levels.
